BONNER: A Service Celebrating the Life of Deacon Douglas McArthur Bonner, Sr. "Charles'" of Conley, Georgia formerly of Margaret, Alabama will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021, 12:00 noon (CST) at Mt. Avery Baptist Church, 135 Joy Street, Margaret Alabama Rev. Vernon Jackson, Pastor; Pastor Michael Hallman, Eulogist. Interment, private. Survivors are one son, Douglas (Cathy) Bonner, Jr.; two daughters, Cynthia Bonner, and Jacqueline Bonner; brothers, Melvin (Shawneequa) Sims, and Carl (Sandy) Sims; five grandchildren, Brittany Bonner, Chelsea Hardrick, Douglas Bonner III, Darius Bonner, and Steven Hardrick; special companion, Gracie Franklin Williams; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 11:30 a.m. (CST).
