SUGGS: A Celebration Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Apostle Johnnie Walker Suggs, Jr. of McDonough, Georgia who was promoted June 23, 2020 will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2020, 10:00 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Rd., Jonesboro, Georgia; Pastor David Beverly, Officiant; Apostle Prince Owens, Eulogist. Interment, Private. Viewing will be held Sunday, June 28, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Monday, June 29, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Survivors are his wife, Deirdre K. Suggs; two sons, Alex Lewis Suggs (who preceded him in promotion to heaven), and Andrew (Jasmine) Suggs; four daughters, Angela (Lewis) Smith, Ashley (Arkeem) Sturgis, Aurburney Suggs, and Aliyiah Suggs; mother, Willa Mae Tyler; brothers, Ronnie (Cassandra) Suggs, and Roger Suggs; sister, Jade (Nate) Weber, and Ashley (Allan) Karoumi; ten grandchildren; and a host of spiritual son and daughters, nieces, nephews, other loving family, friends and the Carpenter House Ministries Church Family.
