Roberts, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024, 12:00 noon New Life Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C., 715 Cleveland Avenue, SE Atlanta, Georgia; Bishop J. E. Hogan, Pastor & Eulogist and Administrative Assistant Raymond Randle, Presider. Interment, Georgia National Cemetery. Viewing will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are his wife of nearly 50 years, Vinnie Roberts; his sons, Timothy Roberts, and Gilbert (Fatima) Roberts; nine grandchildren, Andrea, Amber, Francis, Nikiya, Sharra, Siduri, Ty-onia, Kamrin, and I'Nevea; three sisters, Cynthia (Darryl) Blair, Cathy (Robert, Jr.) Black, and Janice (James) Teasley; four brothers, Larry Roberts, H. Edward (Jackie) Roberts, Walter Roberts, and Tommy (Lynette) Roberts; mother-in-law, Mattie Fuqua; two sisters-in-law, Ernestine (James) Lovelace, and Anita Lockhart; two brothers-in-law, Carl Smith, and LC Smith; and host nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and countless brothers and sisters in Christ. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 11:30 am.
