TURMAN: A Homegoing Celebration honoring the Life and Legacy of Reverend Otis Turman of Fayetteville, Georgia formerly of East Orange, New Jersey will be held Friday, September 20, 2019, 12:00 noon at Calvary Baptist Church, 1599 Betty Talmadge Avenue Jonesboro, Georgia, Pastor Terence Curtis, officiating. Interment, Wednesday, September 25, 2019 Georgia National Cemetery Canton, Georgia. Remains will lie in repose from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, September 19, 2019 from 6 to7 p.m. at Legacy Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Rd., Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are his wife of three years, Dr.  V. Foote-Turman; son, Andre-Lord Davis of Union County, New Jersey; four grandchildren, Phyllis (Michael) Turman-Sirmons, Phillip Turman, Kenneth (Barbara) Turman and Keith (LaShona) Turman; sisters, Rocille Baker, Doris Frazier and Laura Turman; seven great grandchildren, eleven great-great grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 11:30 a.m.
