Mr. Oliver Wayne Tucker, Sr.

TUCKER: Oliver Wayne Tucker, Sr. “Cowboy” passed away on July 29th 2019 surrounded by family from an extended illness. He was born on November 15, 1945 to George and Christina Tucker. During his lifetime he touched and inspired many people. He had a love for his family and Boaty's work family that surpassed normal limits. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Christina Tucker; former, wife, Linda Jo Tucker; wife, Gail Tucker; son, Joey Holsenbeck; and two sisters, Nancy and Gayle. He is survived by two sisters, Jackie and Kathy; three brothers, Felix, Bobby and Bruce; eight children, Jimmy Holsenbeck (son), Cynthia Brantley and Leonard Brantley (daughter and spouse), Crystal Wise and Troy Wise (daughter and spouse), Wayne Tucker, Jr. and Renee Tucker (son and spouse), Becky Harris and James Harris (daughter and spouse), Mickey Jones (son), Billy Allen and Erika Allen (honorary son and spouse) and Angela Melton (honorary daughter); he also leaves his legacy with 22 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; and an army of nieces and nephews. A Service in honor of his memory will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church, 5320 Phillips Drive, Morrow, Georgia, Pastor Rick Long, officiant. Special thanks to his nurses and caretakers from Sacred Journey Hospice, Jan Jones, Mike and Melinda Boatwright and all if the Boaty's Transport family.
