HINGGINBOTHAM: Michael Earnest Higginbotham, Sr. passed away in the morning hours on Saturday the 20th day of July 2019. He is the son of Candler and Louise Higginbotham. He was born in Savannah, Georgia. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sylvia Earline Higginbotham. Michael has three children, Michael Earnest Higginbotham Jr., Cynthia Lynn Potter, and Justin Derick Higginbotham. He has 10 grandchildren: Mathew Paul, Christopher Michael, Steven Lanier, Mathew Andrew, Jeremy Scott, Christina Lynn, Hannah Leigh, Hayley Marie, Hunter Collins and Melanie Diane. He also has two great-grand kids, Audrey Jade and Ale'sha Mae. He has two brothers, Carroll Martin Higginbotham and Robert Warren Higginbotham. He also had a sister named Barbra Louise Cook. A Celebration Service to honor his life and legacy will be announced later.
