COFER: A Celebration service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. Michael Cofer of Fayetteville, Georgia will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at Linked Up Church, 4331 Brownsville Road, Powder Springs, Georgia, Pastor Joel Gregory, officiating. Interment, Wednesday, April 3, 2019, Martinsville, Virginia. Remains will lie in repose from 11:00a.m. for viewing until the hour of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Reba Cofer; two sons, Michael Isaiah Cofer and Philip Michael Cofer; goddaughter, Carly Hammonds; his mother, Darling Alline Cofer; mother-in-law, Reba Hairston; brother, Jimmy Barnhill; brother, David Cofer, Jr.; sister, Norma Jean Barnhill; sister, Sharon McAllister; sister, Cordelia “Dee Dee” Cofer; brother, James “Boone” Cofer; and brother, Joseph “Joe” Cofer (Tamera Daggs); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and extended family. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 12:30p.m.
