PORTER:A Service honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. John Lewis Porter of McDonough, Georgia will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Rd., Jonesboro, Georgia, Rev. Dr. Noah Nyamaropa, officiating. Interment, Eastlawn Memorial Park. Survivors are his wife, Patricia A. Porter; mother, Lewvenia Porter; brothers, Kenneth Porter, Sr. and Joseph Porter (Sherril); sister, Kay Frances; son, Tariq Abdur Rahman (Naimah); sisters-in-law, Margaret Rosser (Willie), Mildred Hampton, Marsha Boone, and Mary Lynn Williams (Damon); brother-in-law, Reginald Boone; grandchildren, Asmara and Aliyah; cousin, Marjorie Silvera; and a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 10:30a.m.
